Liverpool left disappointed and frustrated
After Manchester United and Liverpools encounter the other day, Klopp and the Liverpool's squad were very disappointed of the results.
In the game that finished 0-0 in full time Liverpool had "too" many opportunities to both score and win. With 19 shots and 65% ball possession you would think that Liverpool would be the winning team. Even though Liverpool had many shots on goal during the game and outplayed the reds, De Gea was on top of his game. De Gea is seen as possibly the best goalkeeper at the moment and i don't disagree. The Red's goalkeeper showed an outstanding performance and kept his team at 2nd place of the table.
Even though Liverpool are at the 7th place in the table they still try to fight their way to the top.
There is a lot of talk about Lukaku at the moment. Lukaku is seen as Manchesters star this season and all the scores for Manchester united seem to evolve around him. If Manchester united don't have a good performance its all about Lukaku. I don't understand why people are blaming and pointing out fingers at him, its a team after all. He has had 7 goals in 8 appearances which is outstanding. Maybe people expect a little bit too much from him now.
Anyway, there are many interesting Premier League games yet to come. And after all it was a good game even though Liverpool played better and should have won by far.
