Manchester United's player comeback
Yesterday Manchester united had a very important game against Newcastle which resulted in a 4-1 win to Manchester. This was a big game for Manchester united in many ways as they had 2 key players returning from injury, Pogba and Zlatan. Pogba had thigh and hamstring problems and was out for 65 days and 13 games. Zlatan, however, has been out of football for about 7 months due to a rupture of his cruciate ligament in his knee.
Mourinho revealed some days before the game against Newcastle that Pogba and Zlatan were returning to Old Trafford. Pogba had a place in the starting eleven for the match start but Zlatan came on in the 75th minute just to get a feel for the ball after being ruled out for 7 months.
After the game Zlatan said to reporters that he is only warming up which people feel is quite ironic since he is at the retirement age and seems to be very lazy on the field, which means this could be his last season before retirement.
However, Pogba's comeback after 13 missed games was sensational as he managed to create many chances for Man U. Pogba also managed to get the ball into the net in the 54th minute.
At the moment Manchester united are second place in the table with 26 points working their way up to first place.
