Champions league update

Halfway through leg 2, 4 matches have been played in the round of 16 with only 4 to go.

The main focus was PSG against Real Madrid as Real managed to win 2-1 at Parc de princes in Paris. Without Neymar PSG were struggling to push the attacks forward and kept missing easy chances to push forward. Real Madrid as usual managed to strike on the counters and played very explosively, especially in the second half. Real had a total of 22 shots with 6 on goal which really proved their hunger. PSG however, only managed to get 4 shots on goal with 49% ball possession. The game ended 2-1 and i think Casemiro really deserved the attention he got on social media after sending Real to round of 8.

Another game which was very interesting was Juventus against Tottenham at Wembley. Tottenham had the game in their hands with more possession and 23 shots. Juventus only had 8 shots. Juventus managed to play very secure for the majority of the game, and the chemistry between Chiellini and Buffon is just out of this world, its like they are meant to play with each-other. Anyway, the game ended with a 2-1 win for the Italian team with Dybala scoring the emotional goal, that got every Juventus fan up and jumping. Juventus went goes through with 4-3 as aggregate. Two really spectacular games to watch, with 4 amazing teams.
